FLPro Staffing reviews safety readiness before every placement. Workers are expected to follow site-specific safety protocols, and clients are responsible for jobsite safety per OSHA and applicable regulations.
Every worker is reviewed for safety awareness, PPE readiness, and understanding of basic jobsite safety protocols before being connected to an assignment.
Workers are expected to have basic PPE (hard hat, safety vest, steel-toe boots, gloves, and eye protection) or to confirm they can obtain it before the shift. Site-specific PPE requirements are communicated before placement. For specialized hazards, additional PPE such as hearing protection, respirators, or fall protection harnesses may be required and is specified in the staffing request.
Workers are reviewed for understanding of basic jobsite safety: hazard recognition, ladder safety, lifting techniques, tool safety, and reporting unsafe conditions immediately. Workers who ask about site hazards, confirm PPE requirements, and understand emergency procedures are prioritized for future assignments.
Before each assignment, workers receive the client’s site-specific safety requirements, including any orientation, badging, or sign-in procedures, emergency evacuation routes, muster points, first-aid station locations, and the chain of command for reporting safety concerns.
Workers are instructed to report any safety incident, near-miss, or unsafe condition to both the on-site supervisor and FLPro Staffing immediately. Every incident is reviewed to see whether the scope definition, worker preparation, or site conditions need adjustment.
Not all assignments require formal certifications. Workers with these credentials are prioritized where they apply, and certifications are verified before placement on assignments that require them.
The OSHA 10-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training: the baseline safety certification for construction workers. Covers hazard recognition, fall protection, electrical safety, and personal protective equipment.
A more comprehensive program for supervisors and workers with safety responsibilities, including managing safety programs, conducting site inspections, and leading safety briefings.
First Aid and CPR certification from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or equivalent. Valued on every jobsite.
Forklift, aerial lift, rigging and signaling, confined space entry, and other equipment-specific credentials. Required for operator and specialist assignments and verified before placement.
Training for work on elevated surfaces: scaffolding, roofs, ladders, and aerial lifts. Required for any assignment involving work at height.
Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response training, required for restoration and remediation assignments involving hazardous materials. Verified before placement on applicable assignments.
FLPro Staffing reviews worker safety readiness, but the client, as the entity controlling the jobsite, is responsible for jobsite safety, supervision, permits, licensed-trade requirements, insurance requirements, OSHA obligations, and compliance with applicable law. Staffing support does not replace or reduce these responsibilities.
Risk control: FLPro Staffing does not assume the role of a safety officer, site supervisor, or employer for OSHA purposes on the client’s jobsite. The client retains responsibility for providing a safe work environment, conducting site-specific safety orientations, enforcing safety protocols, and complying with all applicable safety regulations. Workers are instructed to follow client safety rules and report unsafe conditions immediately.
